Developed in 1933 by the University of Minnesota, it has clusters of large, bright red, delicious berries that are good eaten fresh or used in jams and jellies. The bushes are vigorous, very productive and highly ornamental. They can be used as a hedge or in small growing areas. Self-pollinating. Attracts birds.
