Introduced by the University of Minnesota in 1983, Northblue has real blueberry flavor from plump, navy blue fruit that is great for baking or picking off the bush and sampling by the handful. Fall foliage is deep bright red. Plant next to Northland for better fruit production. Blueberries thrive in acidic soil. Attracts birds, bees, and butterflies.
