Developed by the University of Minnesota nearly seventy years ago to survive subzero temperatures, you know it must be good as it is still one of the top selling dwarf pie cherry trees. Meteor is a vigorous small tree with large, bright red fruit. It is self-pollinating. The fruit is excellent for sauces and pies. Birds love the fruit, too.
