This Honeysuckle is tolerant of most sun and soil conditions. It is great for filling in an area where a low screen is desired. It has beautiful fall foliage and summer foliage looks fresh with light green leaves with red highlights. It spreads by rhizomes so is useful for holding soil on slopes. Its yellow flowers are a favorite of bees and other pollinators, including hummingbirds.
